FINALLY GOT A FUCKIN HAIRCUT

it’s one of those days where your boss calls you into her office and you think you’re going to get fired for being late, but instead she gives you sunglasses and ice cream

oh hey tumblr, meet the boy that has turned into my absolute best friend, this semester. pretty sure we hang out more than I hang out with anyone else these days. our hobbies include horror movies, good music, doctor who, and wine.

things that I am currently grateful for:

• all of the people in my life who are never-endingly patient with me
• netflix
• this blanket I am currently wearing as a cape
• the electric heated foot massager my nana got me for christmas

I guess the cool thing about my glasses breaking is that I got that new pair I wanted. actually, I got two. I bought one from costco’s optical center, and ordered the other off coastal.com because they were incredibly cheap. I wanted to test out online shopping for eyewear in case this ever happens again, because I really can’t afford to be dropping $200 on glasses every couple of years due to clumsiness. also, having a spare pair will be nice—if all works out, I’ll be able to coordinate them with my outfits. splendid!

my first pair comes in the mail on monday, but I won’t be getting them until I go home for the weekend because I forgot to change the shipping address from my house to my apartment up at school. either way, I’m excited as fuck and they look like this

the second pair is coming to my apartment and will hopefully be delivered before I go home on thursday. I can’t find a picture of them online, but I’ll post one when I get them!

mango/peach greek yogurt and a smoothie with four mangoes in it for breakfast. I could not be happier.

not sure what I was expecting to take photos of when I asked for a camera for christmas, but here’s some dinner I cooked cause I’m tired of not using it.

went to a rave with my favorite girl in the world! it was such a strange/amazing night.

oh gosh golly! perfect timing. my nana, aka my favorite person in the entire universe, is coming to pick me up and take me out to breakfast.

soooo I don’t know why it took me this long to figure out, but I finally realized that I can extend my screen to the tv with an hdmi cord and watch movies while I do other things on my laptop

I have all 8 movies in hd on my computer, but haven’t watched them yet because I’m too addicted to tumblr

but now I can do BOTH

after a mentally and physically exhausting day (complete with ladycramps! oh boy), I’m finally content and relaxing on the couch in my pjs. I’ve got some chocolate covered blueberries, tea, and a sobfest on abc family (a walk to remember AND charlie st. cloud?? seriously???) to keep me busy. also, my supercool roommate is bringing me sour patch kids because she loves me.

today definitely turned out better than expected.
